Open Spiral is a hybrid press. This means we enter into a collaborative partnership with our authors. We share the investment in both the professional production and the active marketing of your book.

You are submitting your proposal for publication, which is separate from the writing, editing, and coaching services offered by The Soul-Driven Author. Open Spiral is our publishing house, while The Soul-Driven Author is our book coaching wing. Engaging with one does not guarantee or require the other.

Before you begin, please confirm your publishing path

As a hybrid press, Open Spiral asks accepted authors to invest financially in the publication of their book. Author investments typically range from $6,000 to $14,000, depending on the editorial work the manuscript needs.

I understand, and I am prepared to make a financial investment in my book's publication if it is accepted.

I am only pursuing traditional publishing, in which the publisher bears all costs of publication.
